Developing the essential skills for effective project leadership 

Most organisations need to assemble project teams quickly to manage the constantly

changing customer and market demands, and a cohesive and motivated project team

is essential if projects are to achieve their objectives. Whilst organisations normally

have a clearly defined Project Management process, what they lack is project leaders

with the right level of ‘soft’ management skills.

ilm Level 5 Qualification in Leading & Managing Change

The ilm Level 5 Qualification in Leadership and Management is a nationally recognised

qualification. It has been specifically designed to support practising and aspiring managers

at every level to develop essentialleadership knowledge, competence and confidence in

leading and managing change.

The Art of Coaching

This programme supports Managers and Professionals in proactively developing their

organisations by nurturing talent, enabling learning and development, and encouraging

personal growth.  It also provides the foundation for those who would like to gain a

formal qualification in coaching and achieve the ilm Level 3 or 5 Unit Qualification.

Making Professional Presentations

For those that want to deliver presentations more effectively, or that dread standing up

in front of an audience. This short programme is popular with team leaders,

project managers,marketing professionals and all levels of management.

LEAD Management Programme

Delivered through twelve 2½ hour seminars

Overview

The LEAD Programme has been designed to develop the competence and confidence of practicing or potential Team Leaders, Supervisors and Managers to Lead, Engage, Action and Deliver their teams and organisations key objectives and/or projects.

The LEAD programme is delivered through a combination of six modules, one to one coaching sessions, action plans and work-based activities and the implementation of a Making a Difference change/improvement project or an ilm level 3 Award in Leadership in Mangement.

  • Interpersonal Intelligence
  • Personal Effectiveness – the art of time management
  • Developing Effective Teamwork
  • Adapting a flexible management approach
  • Enhancing Performance through Effective Coaching & Delegation
  • Holding People Accountable & Managing Conflict

Modules are currently delivered through two half-day Zoom Seminars with action plans and one to one e-coaching to support learning and application. Delegates may attend stand-alone modules to develop specific competence or a series of modules for a wider coverage of leadership and management competence.

Total investment for one person to join an open group at Palladium Training is £190 per module . To attend all six Modules the cost is £900 per person.

Accreditation & Certification (optional)

There are two options for delegates to gain national recognition for their learning and development. For an additional investment of £169 per person, and on successful completion of this programme, associated action plans and implementation of a Making a Difference Project, the Institute of Leadership and Management will acknowledge the participant through the Institute Approved Certificate and provide one year full membership allowing access to the Institutes comprehensive on-line resource library to support on-gong personal development. For an additional investment of £389 per person, delegates can achieve the ilm Level 3 or 5 Award in Leadership and Management (depending on current management position) by submitting two formal assignments from a selection of ilm Units.

The Art of Coaching

Delivered through five 2½ hour seminars

Overview

This Programme supports Team Leaders and Managers in proactively developing their organisations by nurturing talent, enabling learning and development, and encouraging personal growth. For change and/or development to be of value, managers must be able to utilise a range of coaching and facilitating methods and techniques to bring the best out of their people. Delegates also have the option to gain an ilm Coaching Unit Qualification.

Overview

Our Leading Innovation and Managing Change Programme has been specifically designed to support practising and aspiring managers at every level to develop essential leadership knowledge, competence, and confidence in leading innovation and managing change.

The programme is delivered through three online modules that provide a range of leadership management tools and techniques, which support the development of the following key areas:

  • Module 1 – Vision and Strategy
  • Module 2 – Leading Innovation and Change
  • Module 3 – Implementing and Managing Change

Delivered through six 2½ hour seminars.

Principles of People Management 

Delivered through four 2½ hour seminars

Overview

Regardless of whether your organisation has internal HR support or not, managing the people element of a business can be both time consuming and costly. This short programme is aimed at Team Leaders, Supervisors and Managers who require an understanding or a refresher on how to lead their teams fairly and in-line with legal requirements, ensuring consistent high performance.

Whilst the aim of the programme is not to enable people to become HR professionals but simply be able to resolve with HR issues correctly and fairly prior to involving HR, if the issue has to be escalated. It also ensures HR are not there fore having to sort a bigger issue because of a lack of management understanding or competence.

The key elements of the programme are:

Presentations are a highly effective medium of communication used with colleagues, project teams, management and customers.
