This module supports those who need to engage and positively influence outcomes from other people including managing any potential conflict. This includes staff members, Team Leaders, Supervisors and Managers who would like to consistently achieve positive outcomes when coaching, facilitating, delegating and holding people accountable. It also provides the foundation for those who would like to gain a formal qualification in coaching and achieve the ilm Unit Qualification.

The key objectives of this module are:

  • Apply best practice principles of coaching.
  • Recognise personality and learning styles, and how to adapt yours.
  • Build rapport/empathy through effective questioning and listening skills.
  • Provide and receive positive and constructive feedback.
  • Recognising personal style in dealing with conflict.
  • Confidently hold people accountable using the CURES technique.

Delivery and next open module dates

This module is delivered through a blended learning approach of five half-day face-to-face Seminars, action Plans and one to one e-coaching to support implementation back in the workplace. Between Seminars, delegates will have the opportunity to implement the coaching tools and techniques back in the work environment, reflect on their experiences and share experiences with their peer group at subsequent Seminars. A Coaching Diary will be provided during Seminar 1 for this purpose.

All seminars are held at Palladium Training, Ystrad Myanch commencing 9.15am and concluding no later than 12.30pm.
